It all started when…

I was 12 years old and my dad gave me an old AGFA camera. Later on in school, I decided to have Photo classes to learn more about photography. Back then we used Black & White Ilford film. It was so inspiring to work with those Pentax SL cameras

In 2006 I started using digital SLR and from then on I have only worked digitally because of the superior quality. Now I exclusively work with SONY Mirrorless cameras, since they give me the same feeling I had when using the old Pentax SLR we used in school. They simply inspire.

I am happily married and have a wonderful teenage daughter.

Besides photography, and Nature I love cycling and have been a cycle sports participant and joined many road bicycle races. Now I only ride for fun and my health.

The most important things in my life are God, Family, Nature, Photography, and Cycling.

Yours Sincerely

David Cartagena
